Rosewood Bangkok – unsurpassed attention to room details

Exceptional attention to detail and the highest quality of service, exquisitely designed hotel, wonderfully designed rooms, and the friendliest and most welcome personnel imaginable.

In comparison to a congested typical lobby, the arrival is low key and quick. The front desk staff was quite pleasant and helpful in explaining the check-in procedure as well as the offered experiences (due to covid-restrictions).

At Rosewood Bangkok, we stayed in a Premier Suite, a one-bedroom suite with a separate living area and bedroom. The Suite featured bespoke furnishings in a warm and neutral tone, as well as a contemporary domestic design and living space. Overall, we were delighted with the hardware’s quality, which we consider to be among the best in the city. The views were great, but privacy was a concern because we could see the balconies and windows of surrounding buildings pretty clearly, leading us to wonder how easily we could be seen in our own apartment from those buildings.

Make sure to explore the various parts of the room. There are luxurious touches and amenities throughout.

The accommodation had several luxurious elements that made it one of the best we’d seen in Bangkok. The Dyson hairdryer, La Bottega’s custom-made bathroom amenities, the room’s quality of furniture, the superior bathroom materials, including faucets, the ceiling speakers in the bathroom, the finishing touches on the walls and various juxtaposing designs, the Frette slippers and bathrobes, and the thick and heavy glass doors in the shower and toilet were all superior to what you’d find in a typical hotel room.

However, the accommodation was not flawless; for example, the trays beneath the basins in the bathroom were wobbly and cheap, the wall above the bed had begun to crack a little.

Breakfast could be had at the restaurant or in the room, which was a tremendous convenience. The menu appeared to be quite limited and would rapidly become monotonous if you stayed for an extended period of time. Furthermore, the alternatives were not particularly opulent, with the exception of the fruits, which were diversified. The expensive chinaware, not the food, was one of the most remarkable aspects of breakfast at Rosewood which is not too much of an issue if you are as calorie conscious as us!

K. Khalid is one of the hotel’s most pleasant employees. He brought us in-room breakfast on the second day and expertly set the table and dishes for us. Even if occupancy and general business were not far behind, he provided a great ambiance and service that made us feel like we were not only staying but also experiencing the love of the location.

At Nan-Bei, don’t miss the Peking duck. It’s one of Bangkok’s greatest restaurants. We also had the potstickers and teas, which were both delicious! Thank you, Khun Oshin, for making our stay so enjoyable.
