The Okura Prestige Bangkok – Extraordinary lodging and culinary experiences

Starting with the pre-arrival e-mail interaction, the GM’s face-to-face welcome at check-in, the custom pillow order waiting for me in the room upon arrival, and papers we supplied in advance by e-mail to print, the service was outstanding. We understand that the hotel had a low occupancy rate, making it simpler for staff to keep track of names, yet some personnel addressed us by name from day one, despite the fact that I had never been there before.

We were surprised to be upgraded to the Premier room, which was a double category upgrade. With a size of 57 square meters, the room was almost as large as some other hotels’ suites. The accommodation was pleasant and comfy; the toilet, like any self-respecting luxury Japanese hotel, was a Toto washlet with heated seat, and the bathroom amenities were Aromatherapy. A hotel-branded teddy bear was provided in the room for guests to take home, which was a charming touch.

The Japanese tradition of painstaking precision is undoubtedly apparent in every area of the hotel, including cleanliness, service, and employees. During the epidemic, all hotel restaurants were required by the authorities to prohibit sit-in eating. All meals were served in-room and were diverse, delicious, and well-presented. At Okura, punctuality, which is a characteristic of Japanese society, was not lacking. This hotel is fantastic!

The Athenee Hotel and Deutsche Bank, as well as the entire Diplomats’ residential neighborhood on Wittayu Road, are visible from the suite.

The food and dining selections are second to none in Bangkok! You should take every opportunity to check out all the restaurants, each of them are excellent in their own right!

The Breakfast is at Up and Above restaurant on 24th floor and the spread is to die for!
